Word Wednesday

Word Wednesday is where in each bonus period on Wednesday of each week is assigned a word. The words have to do with being Safe, Positive, Responsible and Respectful. The students then write what the word means to them and then is required to illustrate the word. Every Wednesday there is a new word students have to write about!
In our Bonus period we each put what we think the words mean, and then share them with our groups. We then find out the real definition from a dictionary and have our teachers, explain it to us. Then we draw a picture to illustrate the word. Some words that our Bonus periods have had are Safe, Positive, Trustworthy and Responsibility.
